The inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) starts on March 4. The first match of the season will be played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians. Unlike the IPL, which has two qualifiers and an eliminator, the WPL consists of just one eliminator before the final. The eliminator is scheduled to be held on March 24 at the DY Patil Stadium after which the final will be held on March 26 at the Brabourne Stadium. The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai are the only two venues that will host all the games in the season.
