His elder brother Nithin Kamath, 44, has a net worth of $4.8 billion.

The Kamath brothers' net worth has seen a significant increase in the last one year. They are based in Bengaluru.

Forbes described discounted brokerage firm Zerodha, which the social media-savvy Kamaths founded in 2010, as the company that “went on to disrupt the brokerage market in India”.

Binny Bansal, who founded Flipkart with Sachin Bansal in 2007 as an online seller of books, has a net worth of $1.4 billion.

Sachin Bansal, 42, holds assets worth $1.2 billion.

While Binny Bansal's assets graph has been stagnant in the past one year, Sachin Bansal's assets have declined. Despite that, they both continue to be among the youngest billionaires in India.

This year, global music icon Taylor Swift, 34, was officially declared a billionaire by Forbes. The magazine said she is the first artist to achieve billionaire status solely on the basis of her music, and estimated she has a $1.1 billion fortune.
