Unauthorised appointments of working presidents by UPCC president Khabri in Jhansi and Jaunpur districts have been cancelled by AICC's Venugopal, raising questions over Khabri's continuation in the party. Khabri faces accusations of large-scale irregularities in distributing party tickets for urban local body elections and may lose his position if he is unable to provide a satisfactory explanation. However, a senior UPCC leader stated that Khabri is a Dalit leader and any decision to replace him would have an adverse impact on the party, and the party leadership would consult with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi before deciding Khabri's fate.

NIRF rankings 2023: 8 U.P. institutes among top 100 in India
Eight higher educational institutions from Uttar Pradesh featured in the top 100 Indian institutes in the overall category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings-2023.
